BRAZIL AND ARGENTINA:
TWO ENGINES FOR RENEWABLE POWER GROWTH NOT ONLY FOR ETHANOL AND WIND POWER
Focus in Brazil on ethanol. The declared objective is to become for ethanol what Saudi Arabia is for unrefined petroleum. Argentina, on the other hand, alongside production of fuel oil from soya crops, targets wind power. Yet government programmes also involve the development of renewable power sources.
